Financial Freedom is Important as Hell Right Now

[sharing_buttons]

On Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 the United States elected Donald Trump as the next President to much shock & awe. People were sad, afraid, outraged, ecstatic and everything in between. Many people were left in a state of “where do we go from here.” While I was just as shocked as most. The one great thing about the surprising news was the fire it lit under my bootay!

After it finally settled in that he won, I felt this shift in the atmosphere, like it’s time to gear up for war.

financial freedom is important

Not warfare on politics, but financial warfare. I now realized that:
financial freedom is important more than ever before.
Before we discuss the why, let’s talk more about what financial freedom is. Financial freedom is having the ability to do whatever you want, with whomever you want, whenever you want.

In a money sense, financial freedom is when your passive income exceeds your expenses. So Ladies, our goals is to have our money working for us more than we are working for ourselves. Financial freedom is important because it gives you peace of mind. So when ‘interesting folk’ like Mr. Trump stroll in office and start implementing policies that wouldn’t be in your best interest, you are unbothered because you put the right things in order ahead of time to protect you and your family.

The time for winging your finances or just getting by is not going to cut it in 2017. Tyrese said it best, now is the time to:

1. Hustle
2. Workout
3. Get your money up

Women spend a lot of time playing it safe, wearing the Corporate America mask and putting everyone’s needs before theirs. Guess what? All that is going to do is keep you in the same place. Don’t get me wrong, there is not a problem with being in Corporate America. Corporate America is a great starting point and let’s face it everyone is not fit to be an entrepreneur. The key is to give yourself the same attention that you give to your job. Similar to the way you manage your work, you should also manage your household.

You can do that by becoming the CFO, Chief Financial Officer for those who are new here, of your family. In that role, you manage the finances of your family, the same way the CFO manages the finances of the company that you work for. Once you master the skills of a CFO, financial freedom is yours! Therefore, every 4 years, you won’t have to focus on what the candidate can do for you, because you are doing it for yourself.

If you want to learn how to become the CFO of your household, then subscribe to our newsletter where we will share exclusive tips on how to become the Chief Financial Officer of your life.

Now is our time Ladies to strap on our boots, slay this war makeup and get financially free. Financial Freedom is important as hell right now for you and your family, so let’s go get it!

MissCFO Takeaway: No one man has power over your life.
